The announcement was made through the official COD Mobile Twitter/X handle. The teaser “Standing in the shadow of a titan” was featured alongside visuals hinting at the towering presence of Mobile Suits from the Gundam universe. The crossover also marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic anime series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.
What to Expect from the CODM x Gundam Crossover
While full details have yet to be revealed, previous COD Mobile collaborations suggest a lineup of exciting themed content. Players can likely expect:
- Mecha-themed operator skins
- Exclusive weapon blueprints
- Themed multiplayer or battle royale events
Given Gundam’s rich sci-fi legacy and strong following, the integration could bring a fresh visual identity to the upcoming Season 6 of COD Mobile.
This isn’t Gundam’s first step into mobile gaming either. The franchise has released several titles over the years, including SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL, Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage, and the now-discontinued Gundam Breaker Mobile.
Following Up on Past Collaborations
This new crossover follows COD Mobile’s NieR: Automata collaboration, which arrived during Season 5: Primal Reckoning. That event introduced characters like Kestrel – YoRHa No. 2 Type B and Fiona St. George – Commander White, along with themed cosmetics and missions.
With a strong track record of delivering immersive crossover events, the Gundam partnership is expected to carry forward that momentum.
More details are expected in the coming days, but one thing is clear: COD Mobile is ready to add the Gundam universe to its arsenal. Stay tuned for full updates as we approach the launch of Season 6.
