Blizzard Korea last week posted a notice in the official forums, announcing that it had been working with the Cyber Safety Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency between Jan and Dec 2017. The 2 parties worked together on cases regarding illegal fraud programs and distributors (sellers) related to Blizzard’s game, Overwatch. After a long investigation, 13 individuals have been detained and sent to the Public Prosecutors’ Office for violating the law. Blizzard Korea will continue to stand by its “Play nice; Play fair” campaign.
